Travis Sanders

Certified Salesforce Administrator

Without problems there could be no solutions

Here are the top four traits I possess which have led me to choose the life of a Salesforce Professional.

PROBLEM SOLVER

In my career, as well as in my personal life, I have come to realize that this is the trait that stands above all others. I spend most of my existence contemplating ways to improve whatever process is currently in front of me. This has served me tremendously well in the past and will continue as a Salesforce Admin. Salesforce is an entire industry built on the idea of reimagining the way things are done, and with its ever-growing evolution, I am confident that this aspect of my personality will continue to be one of my greatest assets.

INTROVERTED PEOPLE PERSON

Many times in our society, introverts are mischaracterized as not being people-people. This could not be further from the truth, as being a part of healthy communities has always been a top priority of mine. However, I also require a lot of solitude and quiet to stay mentally sharp and function at my highest capacity. The wonders of today’s technology allow me to pour into my company's culture, coworkers, and clients from home. This gives me the perfect environment to truly thrive in my role.

BACK-OF-THE-PACK LEADER

When you say leader, people typically think of someone speaking with authority to a crowd or having all the power come decision time. I have had leadership roles that included those things. However, I much prefer the type of leadership that comes when you walk through an experience together. With years of experience working with people from every walk of life I have learned how to meet people where they are, show I genuinely care, and help create a better outcome. Regardless of whether I've been the authority figure or the most inexperienced person in the room.To me, leadership is not a title but a call to build others up to achieve a greater good. Once again, this will translate well to the Salesforce ecosystem as I work with people from every demographic of abilities and responsibilities.

COMMUNICATOR

Effective communication is imperative for any project's success. It is a cornerstone of philosophy and success for any Salesforce professional. Even with the best marketing plan, sales, support, or tech team, an organization's performance will suffer immensely if communication is lacking.Throughout my career, I have learned how to effectively communicate with people across vast levels of expertise, from experts in their field to someone that has never heard of the concept I'm trying to teach them.I am excited to utilize these communication skills to help businesses optimize their operations and make their employees' lives easier. Contributing to an organization's success in this way is a dream come true for me.Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a bit! Please reach out if you'd like to discuss anything further.

Rio Bravo Project

Rio Bravo Project is a local non-profit that serves kids in Ananpra, a small colonial in Juarez, Mexico. They provide a safe and nurturing environment for neighborhood children to learn and grow through Jiu-Jitsu, Meal, and Tutoring Programs. For this project, I worked with the Steve, the organization's director, to implement Salesforce from scratch. While Rio Bravo Project is a small organization, this project had plenty of complex issues to overcome. In the end, we were able to achieve simplistic solutions, empowering Steve to keep Rio Bravo Project humming along with efficiency and ease. Here is a sneak peak at our project, and I am eager to discuss it further or explore any other projects you may have. Salesforce Flows Automation

Team Sprint Sponsered By Clicked

The objective of this Sprint was to work as a Salesforce Consultant to implement solutions for Slack's B2B & B2C sales teams. After gathering insight into Slack's current processes I worked with four team members to create Current & Future Business Process Maps. After completing the Process Maps we were tasked with building and implementing Salesforce Flows to streamline the process of their Sales Teams.Prior to this Sprint, my experience with Salesforce Flows was very limited and generally unsuccessful. With my team members being in the same boat, there were many obstacles and frustrations. Each obstacle was then followed by research, group discussions, more research, finally figuring out a solution, and then moving on to tackle the next obstacle. Sometimes the best way to learn is to just jump into the deep end, and that is definitely how this Sprint felt. Within the three-week Sprint, I went from not being able to accomplish anything within Flow Builder to creating three fully functioning Flows, helping my teammates trouble shoot their Flows, and most importantly, building a solid foundation that I have continued to build upon since the Sprint ended.Flows truly are where the magic happens within Salesforce and they have quickly become my favorite part of the platform. In this Spint I created three Flows. One that pre-qualifies a Lead, and creates an Opportunity, a Screen Flow that allows a Sales Agent to create and auto-populate a Quote with just a couple clicks of the mouse, and an Opportunity Stage Progress Flow that ensures that Opportunities in the Sales Pipeline progress in a timely manner. If you have a Salesforce Flow project that you'd like assistance with or would like to discuss this project further, please don't hesitate to reach out. Marketing Cloud Team Sprint

Sponsered By Clicked & Deloitte

Here are my Deliverables and Final Presentation for my recent Salesforce Marketing Cloud Team Sprint. The scenario of this Sprint was to act as the Salesforce Consultant tasked with providing Slacks B2B Marketing Team with a comprehensive marketing strategy to utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud. As Slack's B2B team was a relatively new department, it was my job to analyze Slack's current strategy, build a plan, and walk their team through what a successful implementation could look like.During this experience, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to work through a real-world scenario. Going through Stakeholder interviews, building personas, and coming up with a marketing campaign served as a great chance to critically think about how each person involved would experience the work I was creating. While the Deliverable Meetings served as an excellent opportunity to work on the presentation and communication skills necessary for becoming an effective Salesforce Consultant. Please reach out if you have any questions about this project or would like to discuss anything further. I hope you enjoy!
